These photos I took while I was in America driving through the borders of Nevada, Arizona and Utah. We pulled into a roadside campsite for a night to deep rumbling as the sky thundered and grew menacingly darker around us.
At first there was still some clear blue sky to see, but it was soon taken over by dark, gloomy clouds. The sun still shone through on certain angles and I was able to snap shots of one mountain side shining brightly below the meanest clouds I’ve seen.
The distant storm soon passed, just in time for an incredible sunset which illuminated the mountains and painted the sky pink.
